The client had a pressing need for a solution to monitor and manage a healthcare provider’s productivity. The data was stored in a secure tool called Domo, and all access to the data was monitored and tracked.

Overall, Data Disciples was able to provide the client with a comprehensive BI solution that was secure, non-technical, user-friendly, and readily adopted by the staff and healthcare team. Results

The results from the three-month period show that the provider productivity increased by an average of 17.5%. This means that the number of patient encounters increased by 17.5% which is an improvement in provider performance. Furthermore, the payment velocity was improved from an average of 53 days to 39 days, which is a significant decrease in the amount of time it takes to receive payments.

Lastly, $56,073.21 in rejected claims over a four-month period were identified and re-submitted for payment. This indicates that the provider was able to identify and address areas of inefficiency in the payment process, resulting in a higher overall reimbursement rate. Overall, these results show that the provider was able to improve their productivity, payment velocity and reimbursement rate, resulting in better overall performance.
